Priceline Skincare Goody Bag 2014

Last week, every beauty loving gal was heading to Priceline to get their yearly Priceline Skincare Goody Bag! It's not the usual goody bag as you actually get $340 worth of goodies and I've heard they only offer this once a year. I've read about it from a forum in Beauty Heaven and was so excited to get the catalogue so I can browse which items I will get.

I'm such a sucker for GWP (Gift With Purchase) and even though I just bought some body care essentials from Priceline a week before, I couldn't resist not getting this goody bag!

How does it work?

Buy $65 worth of skin care products from the participating brands and you get a goody bag full of  products worth over $340!

I have the catalogue in my hand while browsing products to make sure I get products only from the participating brands as well as manually calculating the total purchase in my head! Needless to say, I was just too excited to get the goody bag that I didn't pay much attention to what's already inside the bag that I ended up buying 2 products that was already in there! I don't have a list of what to buy unlike most ladies I saw at the store. I just decided to get products I wanted to try and products I know I need.

So what did I buy to qualify?

2 Neutrogena Naturals Face & Body Bar $3.99 each
Sukin Protein Conditioner $9.95
Sukin Natural Deodorant $4.79
Avene Thermal Spring Water 50ml $7.99
Yes to Carrots Color Balm in Peachy Keen $4.79
People for Plants Body Cream $15.99
People for Plants Mist Toner $15.99
FREE People for Plants Eye Cream $15.99 since I bought 2 P for P items

Total Purchase: $67.48 and all of these items are 20% off as well!

I think I did well paying just a little bit over $65! I'm so proud of myself, the brain can still do some math!

What I have used already:

Neutrogena Naturals Face & Body Bar
- Neutrogena is famous for making products especially designed for sensitive skin. If you're having issues with your skin or just want to go back to basics I suggest using Neutrogena products. This bar is odourless as expected and leaves your skin clean and soft.

Sukin Protein Conditioner
- Mr. SF introduced me to the Sukin range and I'm glad he did! Their products have a distinct sweet organic smell and we love this conditioner. My hair smells nice all day long and you can definitely see and feel the difference of using an organic hair care product.

Sukin Natural Deodorant
- I bought this mainly because I can't see any deodorant from the participating brands. I love the smell but you have to wait a little bit for it to dry before you can wear your clothes. This deo doesn't really keep you dry but since it's winter I guess it's okay to use it at the moment. It comes in a small bottle only so I'll definitely empty it within the month.

Yes to Carrots Color Balm in Peachy Keen
- I got another tinted lip balm just for the sake of trying another lip balm to see if it will not chap my lips like Burt's Bees and other brands. I must say I'm quite impressed as I have been using this since I bought it and it just glides beautifully on my lips and keeps it soft all day. I love reapplying lip products all day and this lip balm is one of the few lip products that doesn't give me a chapped and dry lips. I only wish I got the darker shade Soft Plum as this one doesn't color my lips at all. I still love it though!

People for Plants Mist Toner
- I'm loving this product a lot and I might do a separate review for this. I haven't used a toner for ages and using a mist toner is a first for me. I like spraying my face as it gives you an extra calming effect and I love the faint smell of natural oils. You can either use it just as a regular facial mist or wipe your face with a cotton ball to cleanse your face more.

People for Plants Eye Cream
- I have only started using it for a few days so I don't really see any difference yet around my eye area. What I do like about this product is that it's very gentle on the skin and will probably suit people who doesn't have serious eye area problems.

I actually bought 2 People for Plants products just to get their eye cream! I've been meaning to try using an eye cream for the first time and what better way to start by getting it free! Good thing I like taking my time when buying things as the Free Eye Cream ad below the shelf was very small. Check out if they have a small ad about the free eye cream when you buy People for Plants products! :)

Let's head on to what's inside the bag.

I'm so thrilled with what I got! I can use almost everything! The bag is also very nice and strong enough to withstand the heavy load.

Now, the goodies:

Biore Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser $10.99
Beauty Essentials Hydrated Dry Skin Body Lotion
Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser $14.99
Derma Sukin Daily Gentle Wash $8.99

4 full size bottles! 1 body lotion, 2 facial cleansers and 1 face and body wash. I just bought a daily facial scrub so I'll wait till I finish that before I use the Neutrogena cleanser. Out of all the cleansers I got from this bag, I'll try the Neutrogena first as it contains natural salicylic acid from Willowbark bionutrients and suitable for acne prone skin which I have. Also, I can't find the Beauty Essentials lotion from the Priceline website so I'm not sure how much it is and if they will still stock this.

Avene Thermal Spring Water $9.99
People for Plants Mist Toner $19.99
Sanctuary Spa Body Scrub
Nivea Anti-Age Q10 Hand Cream $4.39
Thursday Plantation Macadamia Oil $17.49

The first 2 items are my double products as I have bought the same products without looking at what's inside the bag.

Sanctuary Spa Body Scrub
- As you can see, it's not full anymore as I have been using it before I took the picture. I love the citrus smell and it's not rough on your skin. It does leave your skin soft. I just wish the citrus smell will be stronger so it will stick to your skin after the shower. I can't see this item on the website as well but they have another body scrub, so maybe this is now a discontinued product.

Nivea Anti-Age Q10 Hand Cream
- I don't have aging hands yet but I tried this one out of curiosity. It has a nice typical lotion smell and makes my hands very soft.

 Thursday Plantation Macadamia Oil
- For me, this is the cult product from the bag. It's the first time I've seen a Macadamia Oil being used as a face and body product. I'm loving it and have been using it everyday. Even though it's an oil, it doesn't make your skin greasy and skin absorption is very good. I might write a full review of this product.

Model Co Face Tan $19.99
Manuka Doctor serum, wrinkle filler & face mask samples
Palmer's Intensive Relief Concentrated Cream for Hand & Body $7.99
Hope's Relief Goat Milk Soap
Swisspers Aloe Gentle Eye Make-up Remover $9.99
Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream 15ml sample

I haven't tried any of these but I'll give away the face tan as I'm already blessed with a natural tan skin. I'll definitely try the samples from Manuka Doctor (except the wrinkle filler) and Antipodes as they're expensive and won't buy it unless they're really effective for me. The Palmer's cream might or might not be used depending if I really need it but might be good to use right now as it's winter. The goat milk soap will definitely going to be used as it's a soap which is a staple shower product and we have tried a goat milk soap before and it feels nice to your skin. I like Swisspers so I'm excited to try this once the one I'm using has ran out.

Model Co Black Cosmetic Bag
Puretopia Smooth & Renew Face Scrub $9.99
Suvana Paw Paw & Honey Balm $7.99
Simple Eye Make-up Corrector Pen $11.99
Models Prefer Kohl Pencil in Matte Black $7.99
Compact Mirror
Chapstick True Shimmer in Tropical
Yes to Carrots Lip Butter in Berry $5.99
Dr. LeWinn's Firming Eye Cream $49.99

The black cosmetic bag is pretty ordinary and handy if you suddenly need a small pouch to store your things. The Puretopia Face Scrub may be the last one I will try from all the facial cleansers/scrubs I got from this bag. I recently bought a Puretopia lotion and it was very disappointing so I'll see if this face scrub will change my opinion for this brand. The Suvana balm is an interesting one as it can be used for face, hands and body and I'm excited to try it. The Simple Corrector Pen will definitely going be used. I just have to remember to find time to try it but I'm guessing this will be a staple product in my make up kit. The Models Prefer Kohl Pencil will just be given away as I still have 3 black pencils that I have to finish using and I want to try another brand. The compact mirror is very cute but it's very heavy so I'm still deciding if I should put this in my bag or not.The 2 lip balms will be given away as well, I have now discovered tinted lip balms and currently using a Yes to Carrots Color Balm which I highly recommend. Last is the most expensive item in the bag, the Dr. LeWinn's Eye Cream. I only tried it once and it's too strong for me, it makes my eyes sting even though I used just a weeny teeny bit. I don't have any serious eye lines yet and it doesn't need firming so I just gave it to mum.

Palmer's Intensive Relief Moisturising Lotion sample
Essenza Natural Facial Cleansing Wipes
Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pack Sample
Swisspers Cucumber Travel Facial Wipes $1.49

I'll give away this sample Palmer's lotion as I still have some lotion waiting to be used. The Essenza facial wipes I think is a new product as I haven't seen this one before and I can't find it on the website. I'm currently using it and I love it. Before, I only love Swisspers facial wipes and I must say this is now a good contender. If you love pineapples, you better try this as it has pineapple enzymes and smells really nice. The Swisspers travel pack as the name suggests is good for travelling so I'll bring this for my next travel or I'll just put it in my bag. The Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pack will be used when I have an extra me time as you have to put it in your face for 30 minutes.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream $14.99

I forgot to include this with other products when I was taking pictures as I already put this on the bathroom shelf. I haven't really used a cuticle cream before even though I have weak and brittle nails so I'm really happy when I saw this inside the bag. It has and addictive lemon smell that makes you want to use it again and again.

Lastly, there's heaps of vouchers for most of the particiapting brands. I have yet to read all of them and check the expiry dates of the offers.

Overall, I'm very happy with this good bag! I feel like a little kid that got heaps of toys to play with! haha

Did you get a Priceline Goody Bag as well?
Which product do like the most?

I'd love to hear from you!

*** I would like dedicate this post to my friends Patty B. and Grace P. from the Philippines. I've been getting messages from them telling me how much they love my blog and they enjoy discovering products made in Australia. Thank you so much for your support and hope you enjoyed this post as much I did. And to all my friends who lovingly read my posts, thank you so much! I deeply appreciate it!***

Keep on smiling! :)
